Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon has been named as ‘Top Performer’ in the Lifestyle and Luxury category at the 2023 IHG Impact Awards.
The hotel received the prize at a prestigious award ceremony and gala dinner at the Holiday Inn Liverpool City Centre on the Tuesday 16th April 2024.
Claiming the top Lifestyle and Luxury award reaffirms Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon’s reputation as not only one of the best hotels in Stratford-upon-Avon but also across the IHG UK portfolio.
In its fourth year, the IHG Impact Awards recognises the outstanding achievements of hotels and their teams within the IHG group. Fellow IHG peers are given the chance to nominate colleagues who they feel have made the biggest impact throughout 2023 and have contributed most in delivering IHG’s promise of True Hospitality.
Pash Naidoo, General Manager of Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon, picked up the award on Tuesday and spoke of her pride: “It’s a great honour to receive this award, even more so given that it’s judged by fellow IHG peers.
“Like the majority of the hospitality industry, we’ve had a lot of challenges in recent years, but I’m so pleased for the entire team at the hotel who work incredibly hard in constantly delivering a unique experience for our guests.
“An award like this lets us momentarily take a step back and realise what we’ve achieved but we never rest on our laurels… there’s plenty more to achieve with our incredible hotel and I’m looking forward to constantly driving us to new heights.”
After opening in 2019 following a multi-million-pound restoration, the hotel is not unfamiliar to awards and recognition. Within just four months, the hotel rocketed to number one spot on Tripadvisor – a position its maintained since. It has also seen recognition in a number of awards, including being named as Best Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon in the 2023 Stratford-upon-Avon Awards and in the SBID International Design Awards.
