Stratford-upon-Avon Food Festival
Stratford-upon-Avon’s annual Food Festival takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September 2017. Showcasing Stratford-upon-Avon as a brilliant food destination, it is one of the town’s highlights and attracts visitors from all over to experience this extraordinary town.
This year the festival focuses on all things local with a tantalising programme of free demonstrations and hands-on workshops for visitors to get stuck in and enjoy the best of the town’s culinary talent.
Get inspiration from celebrity chef Mike Robinson, who will be giving a free demonstration on Saturday at 1pm to showcase the best of British wild food and game, key ingredients on the menu of his exciting new restaurant that is set to open at our hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2018.
Learn how to make your own delicious fudge with Andy Irvine from Roly’s Fudge, pick up top tips from the cocktail experts at Union Bar as they rustle up some of their coolest cocktails for you to try and master, or why not give sausage making a go with an expert demonstration from Barry the Butcher.
Along with the array of fabulous food and drink stalls, you could also explore the best restaurants in Stratford-upon-Avon and try some tasty bites when you book a ticket on the Taste Trail. And if you need to quench your thirst, book onto the Ale Trail to discover why this Shakespearean town is an ale-lover’s heaven as you visit some of Stratford-upon-Avon’s most charming pubs.
You’ll be spoilt for choice this year as the festival partners up with Cotswold Markets to offer visitors almost 100 different stalls to choose from, with regional food producers sampling and selling their finest local produce.
