Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon has been nominated in two categories at the Coventry and Warwickshire Foodie Awards 2025.
Its on-site restaurant, The Woodsman, is nominated for ‘Best Restaurant’, and Executive Chef Greg Newman is a finalist for ‘Best Chef’. Sister hotel Hotel Indigo Coventry has also received two nominations for its restaurant Cogs Bar & Kitchen – ‘Best Burger’ and ‘Best Restaurant’.
The winners will be announced on 3 June at a presentation event at Squab Hall Farm near Leamington Spa.
Now in their fourth year, the Coventry and Warwickshire Foodie Awards recognise the makers, creators and providers of local and regional food, drink, and hospitality experiences. With a strong focus on sustainability and nature, the awards highlight individuals and venues that continue to innovate and elevate the region’s culinary scene.
Scott Rankin, Group Operations Manager at Castlebridge Hospitality, which manages both hotels, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted 4 times in these prestigious regional food awards.
“Both restaurants have a brilliant team behind them who work incredibly hard in producing a first-class dining experience and we look forward to the results next month.”
Hotel Indigo Stratford upon Avon, formerly The Falcon Hotel, opened in April 2019 following a major restoration. Its restaurant, The Woodsman, is the creation of Mike Robinson, known for his commitment to British produce and sustainable wild food.
